Service Description
Club Overview: Join our Vision Wednesday Club, a 90-minute action-packed after school football session led by UEFA-qualified coaches. Sessions are designed to challenge and develop players in a fun, structured, and professional environment while helping them build confidence, technical ability, and game understanding. This programme is aimed primarily at Year 3 and Year 4 pupils at Stanley Park Junior School who want to develop their football in a focused training environment. Session Details: Day: Wednesdays Time: 3:30pm – 5:00pm Location: Stanley Park Playing Fields Children attending Stanley Park Junior School will be collected from school and walked to the playing fields by our coaches. What to Expect: SAQ Development Each session begins with Speed, Agility and Quickness (SAQ) exercises designed to improve movement, coordination, and athletic performance. Technical Development Players work on core technical skills including dribbling, passing, ball control, receiving, and shooting, helping them become more confident and effective on the ball. Practice Spectrum Training Sessions follow the FA Practice Spectrum, ensuring players experience a variety of training practices that support both technical and tactical development. Game-Based Challenges Players take part in overload practices, small-sided games, and 1v1 matchups, encouraging creativity, decision making, and confident attacking and defending in realistic match scenarios. At the end of each session, one standout player is awarded the “Baller of the Week” trophy for demonstrating effort, focus, teamwork, and a positive attitude. What Players Should Bring: Players should arrive with: • Full football kit • Shin pads • Suitable footwear for grass (moulds or astros) Players are also welcome to bring a small snack for after school before the session begins. Parent Communication: Parents will be added to the UltraVision WhatsApp community group. This group is used for important updates, reminders, emergency communication, and a place for parents to ask questions about the club.
